Every year more and more students from LLC choose to study abroad to improve their language proficiency. The International Programs Center advises UNCG undergraduates about study abroad. Faculty-Led Costa Rica Immersion Program

Experience a four-week immersion program in one of the most fascinating, biodiverse countries in Central America! Earn 3 credits of Spanish language in a variety of beginner, intermediate, or advanced course levels alongside 3 credits of LLC 399 Service Learning.

Faculty-Led Spain Immersion Program

German Programs

UNCG offers study abroad programs in Germany and Austria.

Korean Programs

UNCG offers a study abroad program in South Korea at Yonsei University, Sogang University, Sungkyunkwan University which are ones of the best universities in South Korea. UNCG students can spend a semester or a full year in Seoul. Each semester, students will have the opportunity to earn official credit hours of Korean language and culture.

Russian Programs

UNCG offers a study abroad program in Russian at Kazan State University, one of the best and oldest universities in Russia. UNCG students can spend a semester or a full year in Kazan. Each semester students have the opportunity to earn 12-15 hours of Russian language and culture credit.

Spanish Programs

UNCG offers semester abroad programs in several Spanish speaking countries, such as Perú, where students have the option to go to Cuzco, Moquegua, and Lima; Spain, where students have the option to go to Barcelona, Cáceres, Cuenca, Granada, Toledo and Salamanca; and Montevideo in Uruguay.
