Greensboro Japanese Speech Contest 2021

For more details: https://gjsc.gator.site/

Eighteen students from UNCG, Wake Forest University, and Guilford College delivered their original presentations on topics ranging from love to ghosts.  They told us about a grandmother chugging a bottle of sea water, the effects of Japanese superstitions on math homework, friends drinking a little too much beer in Sapporo, a dragon picnicking with a tiger, the difficulties of returning to school after a break, the world of virtual reality, what it feels like to be a foreigner in Japan, and more!
