Here is some more information about Nicole:
Servus! My name is Nicole Schachter and I am in my fourth year here at UNCG. I study psychology and German and am a member of the International Honors College. With the support of a DAAD Undergraduate Scholarship for Study Abroad, I was able to study at the University of Konstanz.
My eight month study abroad experience in Germany was both thought provoking and life-changing. During my time abroad I was able to work as an intern at an international corporation in Germany while also studying at the University of Konstanz. I improved my language skills immensely, learned about German culture through immersion, and made friends from all over the world. I was able to visit several cities in Germany, all offering exciting opportunities and opening new doors. While abroad I was able to go to traditional German festivals, explore medieval castles, hike in the Alps, and so much more. I loved my experience in Germany so much that I plan to return to Germany for my graduate studies. I am currently serving as a young ambassador for the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
